Title:   Portraits

Stefan Olsson Wandel Photography
The Album:
This Album contains my best portraits of both animals and humans. As you browse the album you will see that various cameras have been used through out the years - beginning with an old analog camera, a russian Zenith in the late 80´ and continuing with my first digital pocketcamera - the Sony Cybershot DSC 600. Later on I bought a bit larger one - the Canon EOS 400D and some suitable lenses to go with it. Latest I use the Canon EOS 7D and some fairly better set of lenses too. The gear I use is as such for semiproff´s as I yet can´t afford the very costly ones.

History:
I began taking my first snapshots in te early 80´ and an interest for the media was born. In mid 1989 I developed my own analog b/w pictures on exellent polish photopaper and some of those I scanned and you can browse them under "Humans\Akt and Budoir"
Today I usually carry some kind of camera on me wherever I go. For these purposes the small pocketcameras are extremly suitable - and the picture-quality is actually rather good -- I can´t complain about that. Then there are those days where I pack all my gear and dedicate the journy to a fieldtrip with a purpose. Here I usually also carry my Monopod and Tripod with me - plus my ringflash and macro-gear (some special extra-lenses I attach in front of my macrolenses - which allows me to get really (almost scary-like) close on the subject). I may not forget to mention the portable reflector that solves quite a lot of delicate lack-of-lighting problems I may encounter in the field.

TFP and payed studio models:
As I frequently try to experiment with funny ideas I get, crazy poses I invent and some costumary needs I have to try out, and as tere usually are no models to try it out on, I tend to do the stunts my self with a remote trigger attached to the camera in my own studio. It´s great fun to do, but eventually it could fill my album over the top with these kind of selfportraits, and I would be pleased IF you - or another - dared to pose for me on a TFP(Time For Pictures) payment-level to begin with. If you are interested - don´t hesitate to contact me.

I hope you enjoy viewing the album though and I would be very pleased if you would take the time to comment on them by sending me an e-mail.
